Information we collect

We collect only what you give us and what we need to run the website and our counselling service:

  • Enquiry and counselling forms: your name, mobile number, email address, city, the course or branch you are interested in, the college you asked about and the page you sent the form from.
  • College predictor: your qualification, entrance exam status, score range, preferred branch, budget, when you plan to join, the colleges matched or shortlisted for you, and your IP address.
  • Exam paper and brochure requests: your name, mobile number, email address, course, branch, university or board, and the application details you enter.
  • Mobile app: your name, mobile number, email address, phone platform, sign-up and sign-in times, and a notification token so we can send you app notifications.
  • Usage data: Google Analytics records the pages you visit, your device and browser, and your approximate location, using cookies. We do not use it to identify you.
  • Browser storage: your browser remembers small settings, such as having closed a pop-up or requested a brochure, so we do not ask you again.

How we use your information

  • To contact you by phone, WhatsApp, SMS or email about your enquiry and admissions.
  • To give you counselling and suggest colleges and courses that match your marks, budget and interests.
  • To send you the brochures, exam papers and app notifications you asked for.
  • To understand how the website is used and improve it.
  • To protect our forms from spam and misuse.

Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described here:

  • Our counselling team, who use a customer relationship management (CRM) service, Deal Converter, to manage and follow up on enquiries.
  • Colleges and universities, only when you ask us to help you enquire or apply there.
  • Service providers that run parts of our service for us: our web hosting provider, email services, Google Analytics, Google reCAPTCHA (which checks that forms are sent by a person) and Google Firebase (which delivers app notifications). Google's use of this data is covered by Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Authorities, when the law requires us to.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent to being contacted at any time. Email us at the address below from the contact details you gave us, and we will respond within a reasonable time.

You can turn off app notifications in your phone's settings, and block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to help you with your admission and to meet our legal obligations, and then delete them. You can ask us to delete your details sooner.

Students under 18

Many of our users are school students. If you are under 18, please use our website and services with the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian. A parent or guardian can contact us to review or delete their child's information.

Security

We protect your information with secure (HTTPS) connections and access controls, and only authorised staff can see enquiry details. No online service is completely secure, so please contact us at once if you think your information has been misused.

Links to other websites

Our pages link to college websites, WhatsApp and other services. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
